A couple days after we got back from Orange County Grandma Karen came to visit us! We realized after back to back grandparent visits that maybe we needed a way to differentiate the two grandmas. We road tested Gaga for Grandma Karen. Not sure if it will stick, but it's definitely cute when he asks for "Ga-gee".
First thing's first: Here Gaga, here are all my favorite toys.
It just so happened that my Aunt Maria (whom I haven't seen in 6 years!) and her husband, David were vacationing in San Diego at the same time as my mom's visit so we met in the middle in San Juan Capistrano to visit the mission there. It was fun to catch up with Aunt Maria and meet one another's husbands. The Mission was cool too.

Bennett loves to smell flowers. Or rather, he loves to stick his face in flowers and shake his head back and forth. I don't think he knows what he's looking for in there yet. Sure is cute though!
After the Mission we got some lunch at a legit Mexican restaurant down the street then had some time to kill before David and Maria's train returned to San Diego so we headed down to the beach for a while. Bennett is a firm believer that there is no wrong time to play the "show me your belly" game. I kind of agree (so long as it's only his belly, sometimes he tries to show the world my belly...I don't particularly appreciate that variation on the game).
It was a long day, but a fun one! Stay tuned for more fun with Gaga...until then, here's a picture of my two favorite guys, aren't they handsome? :)
